My Computer is Feeling Better :)
Wow...it's been some crazy-smack times since I've been able to write. The last week of my rotation my computer decided to get sick...I mean really sick with some virsus/worm or STDs of some sort it was total pop-up craziness to the point I'd have 20 on my screen in like 2 minutes and I couldn't get them off...but we're up and running now!!!
So let's go back in time like 2 weeks. My rotation ended with that crazy bitch ended up giving me an A and blowing sunshine rainbows up my ass....it was weird and somehow I made it through my evaluation without laughing at her. So I guess it all turned out, though it is an experience no one could ever pay me enough to do for another 6 weeks. And yes I did do a spin move outside her office, did a touch-down move, and ran out of RUSH like it was on fire. Later that night, I had plans to meet some delicious people for dinner and MUCHO GRANDE drinks with Brian and his girlfriend. It was a most fabulous time and she was the most fabulous girl. I'm a little mad at Brian for not introducing us earier....but I'm sure while be getting together sometime again soon. Then I went back to pack some of my things with a mean buzz going on....trust me packing was much more entertaining.
The Y-Me race was amazing this year and was totally a moving experience. I think they said there was around 40,000 people that attended and raised over $4 million. I'll put some pictures up shortly!!!
On my last day in the Downers Grove region after seminar a group of people from school decided to have a impromptu lunch extravaganza.....even though it was totally last second...it was a really nice time, but Mike and I kind of had to eat and run so we could finish moving me out of the dorm. Then later that night Mandi informed me that Chas'n Mason was going to be playing at Joe's Bar downtown. Mike and I of course had to go since it's our super favorite going to be celebrities someday band! Of course me and pseudo Keith Urban got another picture together but I'll have to wait until Mandi sends them to me to put them up. I'm sure I'm totally cheesing out. It was such a great time, even Maria and Lauren two of my sorority sisters from undergrad were able to make it. I might have had a little better time than everyone else, since I was sure not feeling good the next morning. But after a little McDonald's breakfast I was back in action!
I started work on Monday. It hasn't been to bad getting back into the swing of things, and getting paid for it. It's going to be weird not being poor...I was almost used to it...he he. My boss even took us out for dinner at Willy's for a Feista. Missy had the poor waiter turn off the jukebox and turn on American Idol for us...before we knew it the resturant was empty. I guess they weren't fans. After that I was just addicted enough that I had to watch the finale the next night so I'd know what they were talking about at work the next day. Damn that Old Man River Guy....I just didn't dig him.
This weekend was super nice but super short. Friday night we decided to kick off our weekend with May Fest with Missy and some Manny's tacos. Saturday Mike and I decided to buy bicycles (of course mine is pink!!) then on our way out a tornado warning was called and we all had to go to the middle of the store. I was no dummy...I ducked into the padded bra aisle...for real! Mind you during all of this I'm freaking out since we took my dads new tahoe, which he didn't want to let me take in the first place...I think I said "he's going to kill me" at least a thousand times. It didn't help that we saw a cart fly by the doors at 25mph or the garden center people saying all the shit was flying all over the parking lot. Long story short.....everything was fine and I didn't get killed. Later that night, Mary was in town so we went and visited her. Sunday Mike, me and the FamBam all went up to the Burbs to hang with my sister for her birthday. It was surprisingly a nice time. My dad made us go to this crazy jazz White Fence Farm chicken place, since he saw it on the food network. Maybe it's me but I don't dig resturants with a petting zoo or walls covered in death. There honestly was like 20 too many dead animals on the walls. After that, Mike and I headed out to "burb country" to see Gennie, Sean and their new baby girl Jolynn. It was so great seeing them!!
That leaves us at today....when Mike had to leave me early this morning for baseball. I was super sad I really really wanted to go. Anywho he rocked it and they won!! I can't wait for next weekend I finally get to see him play and I have a spa day in the planning. Hopefully next weekend won't be as "balls" out as this one.
Okay now I'm exhausted at typing and I'm sure I forgot some good stuff.......it happens. We'll blame it on the STDs my computer had...hehe.
Hope everyone is well and I hope to be seeing everyone soon! Sorry I had to be so MIA the last 6 weeks....trust me it sucked! But I'm back in action now...so no worries.

Ninja Who?
All I have to say is this ninja doesn't have shit on me...I can do that and fill prescriptions, take doctor calls, and give immunizations all while doing those moves!

Anywho....all is well. Mike's coming here this weekend, since I have the Chicago Y-Me Breast Cancer race this weekend. It's such an awesome exprience and a emotionally moving day I can't wait! I literally have 5 days left of this craziness. Seriously my last day of this rotation I'm going to do a spin move, jump up and click my heels. Oh and then run out of there as fast as I can. Next week I'll be trying to be work functional while packing...it could get interesting. I'm praying my sister will help me out. It's so crazy knowing I'm moving out of here for good. I can no longer claim to be a Chicago Homey.....back to be a hillbilly! I'm excited but not since I do love it here. Oh well time to work on my huge case presentation on Endocarditis....yippy!

Mike Seals the Deal!
Wow it sucks having no time to de-stress and write on here. I'm so super busy on the infectous disease team at Rush in Chicago that I might go insane. Plus my preceptor has some issues so far I'm pyscho-analzed this about her....1. her father never accepted her 2. shes not attacted to her husband 3. "simiplicity" is her excuse for everything inadequate in her life 4. she's trying to prove herself to us for some reason 5. she lacks a personality.....yea she's nuts. But in the same turn she's kinda nice....I wish I could explain it. I have only 2 weeks left and COUNTING! I'm super excited....2 rotations almost down.....then 4 more....and it's all over and I get to have the fabulous life I've worked so hard for!!! Pink everything for me please!
Speaking of pink....Mike is honestly the most wonderful boyfriend in the entire world! So I've been having a rough time on this rotation since hospital/clinical pharmacy is way out of my realm plus the preceptor thing....so he bought me a pink set of golf clubs. They were the ones I've been eyeing for some time now....the breast cancer HOPE golf set. He had them unwrapped and waiting in his bedroom for me. He definitely sealed the deal on being in my life forever...well even more so if it's possible. He's so incredibly thoughtful and loving. I couldn't ask for more!!
Anywho, on to reading about Management of Infectious Diarrhea....no joke. If you have any questions you can call me tomorrow regarding any diarrhea problems!
